Want a sneak peek of your 2013 holiday shopping list? Here’s one item: the next Xbox. This week a Microsoft job posting gave further weight to the rumor that we’ll see a new gaming console out of Redmond, WA, before Christmas next year. The job ad, now removed from Microsoft’s careers site, stated “Over the next eighteen months Microsoft will release new versions of all of our most significant products including Windows (Client, Server, Phone and Azure), Office and Xbox.” Elsewhere, there was more good news for people who are anxious for the next generation, as we saw what may be the first image of the next version of Kinect’s capabilities. Yeah, definitely time to start saving that loose change.
