It’s out! FTL is the first major crowd-funded video game to be completed. FTL is available for $9 directly from developer and on Steam and GOG. I quite like it, so I recommend you buy it.
The spiritual successor to Total Annihilation ended its Kickstarter at over $2.2 million, successfully meeting all of their stretch goals. The final stretch goal was the “Planetary Documentary”, a making of film. I’m quite curious to see how that turns out.
Obsidian Entertainment have announced what their big project is. It’s an RPG in the same vein as Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale and Planescape: Torment. They haven’t released much more than that, but they probably won’t need to. They’re already over a quarter of the way towards their $1.1 million goal.
