Okay, I understand that certain elements from games show up in others and there’s always that risk of running into copyright infringement. So we do our best to make a new and refreshing game with a new coat of paint or different game mechanics. Let’s take a peek at the newly released 3D Cartoon Land: Safari it’s features:
Very simply yet very addicting,this unique game requires you to quickly jump over obstacles and collect coins. But you are not secure in this beautiful cartoon world. An angry tortoise could bite you. An easy and smooth control makes it very funny and to jump or run.
Does any of this sound familiar? I’m not quite sure what the author was trying to accomplish here, but looking at the screen shots watching the game in action it’s clear the author borrowed some (and by some I mean all) material from Super Mario 3D Land. They didn’t hold back any punches. They copied Mario’s likeness down to his big bushy mustache with his red and blue jumpsuit, goombas, even including jumping on turtles and kicking their shells around! I’m not sure if the author is intending for this to be a satire piece on Nintendo’s Super Mario 3D Land, but it can be downloaded on Apple’s App Store for $0,99.
