‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ Video Explains Unique Sound Design
Want to get an insider’s look at the sound design behind the upcoming release Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare? Activision has released a one-and-a-half minute production video lead by Sledgehammer Games’ Audio Director Don Veca. In the video, Veca explains the audio intelligence system that adds uniqueness to every impact and explosion. The sound for ‘Advanced Warfare’ was meant to be futuristic but believable, with the intention of making you feel as if you’re in a movie. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare releases in the U.S. for PC, Xbox and PlayStation consoles on November 4, 2014.
