Hotline Miami free for PlayStation Plus subscribers in the US

HotlineMiami 2012-11-04 11-52-47-53Here’s a bit of good news early in the week. Hotline Miami is now free to download for PlayStation Plus subscribers based in the US. The top-down action game from Dennaton Games typically sells for $10 at the PlayStation Store, and one license gets you both the PS3 and PS Vita versions. The indie game was originally released in 2012 for PC, and received good reviews across the board. Metacritic, for example, gave it a score of 85/100, while PC Gamer gave the game 86/100. Gameverse’s Daniel Perzan suggests the game is “worth checking out” but added this disclaimer: “Hotline Miami is not a game for everyone. It is extremely violent, incredibly difficult, and everything about the presentation feels as if it was fueled to emulate a drug-induced haze.” Want to read the review before downloading?
