2019 Can’t Officially End Until You Watch The Abbreviated Awards

We all sat through The Game Awards and watched Geoff Keighley introduce to us the many game commercials, trailers, and reveals we needed to see. There were also some actual awards handed out too, though some were done in under thirty seconds or without seemingly any announcement at all. The rest of the three-hour affair involved some entertaining sketches, speeches, and concerts that really expressed the new heights to which the event has climbed.

However, I’ve put together an awards ceremony that changes up the typical categories and gets it all done in about five minutes. Rather than burden you with boring things like “Best Sound” or whatever “Best Esports Coach” is supposed to be, I’ve boiled it down to only seven groundbreaking categories. Now, sit back and take a moment to check out the Abbreviated Awards for 2019.

There you have it, The Abbreviated Awards 2019. A magical experience for everyone involved.

Any suggestions for new categories for next year?  Any winners you want to see in these unique categories?

Being an avid gamer for most of my life, I always felt like I wanted to be a part of the industry beyond simply being a customer. I've had a lot of hobbies over the years ranging from sports and fitness to astronomy, but gaming has always been a constant. A few years back I decided to try my hand at writing reviews and creating videos and those efforts have grown into something I commit a lot of my free time to and enjoy.
