Arguably the most significant video game of all time, Grand Theft Auto III, arrives on the PlayStation Network this Tuesday for the low low price of $10. Earlier this year the ESRB rated both GTA 3 and Vice City for digital distribution on the PS3, but it looks like we’ll have to make due with our unnamed protagonist in Liberty City before we get Ray Liotta’s Tommy Vercetti in the Miami clone. Released in October 2001, Grand Theft Auto III has sold more than 14.5 million copies to date. No word yet about a PS3 release of GTA: San Andreas.
