Finally, KC has something to brag about besides BBQ.
Thurs., Sept. 13th – Google officially announced their proposed rollout schedule for Fiber internet and TV service in Kansas City. The first fiberhood to receive service will be Hanover Heights, located in Kansas City, KS, this October, with the rest of KCK following close behind and wrapping up in the Fall of 2013. Unfortunately for those of us living in Kansas City, MO, the wait will be a bit longer as rollout on (what I like to call) the “cool side” of KC is not schedule to begin until after the new year. For more information, click here. Also, watch this site for updates as I will be providing my own personal experiences with Google fiber as soon as it comes available.
