I quite like Shattered Steel. It’s a mech game by BioWare. It shows it’s age, but has held pretty well. Giants: Citizen Kabuto is a pretty funny third person shooter thing. The Fallout, FreeSpace and Descent games you should know about. If not, Fallout is an excellent series of post-apocalyptic RPGs, the FreeSpace games are space sims, and the Descent games are FPSs with six degrees of freedom. Sacrifice is an interesting RTS. I never really cared for it, but it has a cult following. Shogo: Mobile Armor Division is and animesque mecha FPS. I like it.
