Activision & Bungie officially announce ‘Destiny’

According to a joint press release today, Destiny is a first-person story that takes place in an “unfolding, cinematic universe.” There’s also a social element to the game, in which you may encounter other players on their own adventures while you’re in story mode. The epic takes place in the distant future where gamers play as Guardians of the last city on Earth, traveling the ruins of our solar system.
